Ethos Veterinary Assistant Program
What is a Veterinary Assistant?
The primary role of the veterinary assistant is to provide support to the entire veterinary hospital staff. Veterinary assistants help the front desk staff by greeting clients, provide education on general health topics and medications, manage the flow of the client visit and ensure the exam rooms are clean and well stocked. They assist the veterinary technicians and veterinarians with nursing care and animal husbandry, ensuring a clean, comfortable environment for patients. They set up the equipment needed for procedures, stock the hospital with medical supplies and much more.
